Being a part of Ingredients has been one of the most life-changing and special seasons of my life. Walking in as a trainee, I had no idea what to expect. I was excited to grow as a dancer and an artist, and to train at such an excellent and professional level, but the Lord gave me something so beyond what I ever could have ever imagined. Through Ingredients and the incredible leadership, outstanding dance training, biblical application teachings, and worship encounters, I was met by the Lord in a transformative way, and learned how to truly walk in relationship with him. I learned what it looks like to operate with leadership and excellence, not just in my gift of dance, but in every capacity and in all areas of my life: at work, at church, in my relationships, and as a member of the Body of Christ. My dance was elevated to a new level through learning how to use my gift as worship, and rehearsals that truly bring him glory. Ingredients is unlike anything else - it is truly one of a kind! I feel so prepared to take on whatever challenges may come my way because of the way Ingredients has equipped me, and I am so thankful for this program that I will forever get to call my family.

Ingredients Dance Company completely changed my life. Before joining, I had drifted from my faith and was hurt, lost, and unsure of my future in dance. During my first week, a company member prayed over me and spoke into things only the Lord could have revealed. At that moment, I knew this wasn't a typical dance company. Throughout the year, I grew in my friendships, my technique, and my faith. The challenging classes pushed me to become the strongest dancer I'd ever been, and the mentorship from company members, directors, and staff helped rebuild my faith in powerful ways. The Lord is truly present in this company. Ingredients is a place where dance, friendship, and faith are nurtured and lives are changed!

With the lifelong dream of dancing in a professional setting while also bringing honor and glory to God, Ingredients was such an answered prayer. ING came into my life at such a pivotal point, and I met some of the most Christlike, intentional, and talented people that I continue to connect with. The staff is incredible with how they structure their classes, push you in a loving way, influence wisdom, and will always pray for you. I encourage you to say “YES!” in faith that the Lord will reveal His plan to stretch you in all the ways through this program. I am so thankful that I obeyed what He called me to at ING, and the result was fulfillment in Him alone!

When I chose to audition for Ingredients, I truly had no idea of the ways that God would use it to leave a lasting impact on my life. Ingredients is so set apart as a dance company fully in pursuit of God and His heart for dance. Through this program, and with the guidance of the amazing leaders in it, I was pushed to overcome limits that I had placed on myself not only as a dancer, but also as a believer. I learned to work towards excellence with a heart posture of worship when I dance, and I am now far more equipped, confident, and free in every area of my life. Ingredients also gave me the most incredible lifelong spiritual family I could ever ask for, and in that, God has drawn me nearer to Him than ever before. Moving to Texas to dance for Ingredients Dance Company has given me a solid foundation of faith, dance training, and community for the future the Lord has for me. I have been provided countless opportunities to grow in dance technique, style, and depth, while also learning extensively about what it means to be a leader in every area of life. Ingredients has pushed, molded, and challenged me in areas I was initially too scared to face on my own. I will forever be grateful for every person that I have met, experience I have gotten to be a part of, and lifelong seeds that have been planted. Ingredients is so much more than a season of my life or a dance company to me- it is family! I am so excited to see how the Lord continues to use these foundational years in every new chapter of my life.

Ever since I was little, my dream was to be a part of ING. But I think what my heart wanted more was to be a part of something bigger than myself. God was so good to fulfill my dream and through ING I have grown into the woman and dancer I am today. I have found a new confidence in who I am and what I was created to do. I have stepped into leadership positions I never thought I could. I have experienced His glory in ways I could have never imagined. I have found a freedom and strength in my dancing that only came from the push and encouragement of my teachers. I’m beyond thankful for this ministry I now call family and for how it has prepared me for the rest of my life!

My experience being a part of Ingredients has been nothing short of life changing. Through this program, my whole life has shifted from old to new, from death to life, from broken to whole. The community you get to be a part of, the professional dance training and teachers, the discipleship and support all work together to cultivate an amazing, unique, and God-driven environment unlike any other. From the outreach opportunities and events to technique classes and rehearsals, Jesus is at the center of it all. If you are thinking of auditioning for Ingredients, do it!
